Artist Kristina Woodruff employs bold, expressive brushstrokes and vibrant colors to represent iconic views of San Diego County. Using the Arts Program’s public piano as her canvas, she creates vivid panoramas of our unique environment, featuring the city’s iconic landmarks like the Coronado Bridge. Woodruff has a rare condition, synesthesia, derived from Greek, meaning to perceive together, which gives her the ability to hear colors when painting and to see colors when listening to music.
