Description
- Artist Don Porcella designed and facilitated a hands-on artmaking workshop for students from High Tech High Chula Vista over the course of one month. The students first authored and illustrated zines inspired by the theme of Intergalactic Dreaming, which were featured in the 4th annual San Diego Zine Fest. They then collaborated with Porcella to imagine and craft extraterrestrial alter egos from pipe cleaners, using both Porcella's taught techniques and their own construction methods.
