The award winning graphic design program at San Diego City College has a long history of mentoring strong designers who make a difference. The City Studio course gives students the opportunity to work on practical design projects in an agency environment.

This latest collaboration between City Studio and San Diego International Airport gave intermediate level design students the chance to tackle institutional projects. After touring the airport and meeting with the marketing team, each student selected one of the three design challenges: monument signage, vehicle graphics for airport parking buses, and a series of concession advertisements. These students presented their unique perspective on the problems and collaborated to produce a unified exhibition.
