Description
In Flight is a suite of four Italian glass mosaic mrals detailing a metaphor for the flying experience; a woman in transit, an informal family portrait and a variety of carrry-ons are depicted in a renovated rotunda of the airport. As the airport is a point of arrivals and departures from our past, our home, our jobs, and is a place of transition to new connections and opportunities, passengers may see themeselves mirrored in this artwork. It is a mythic point of entry and return.
