Description
Spanning 520 feet, Wind Dance is comprised of 52 etched and enameled panels, each 10 feet across and 2.5 feet high. The artwork evokes a sense of elemental changes that can take place in a typical San Deigo day. The elements of wind and sky transform pieces of drifting ribbon into a large Gordian knot as seen in the end panel. Lit by the sun during the day and back lit by large fluorescent lights at night, it is colorful and light-hearted.
