For Security Chorus, artist Asa Mendelsohn recruited airport security workers who are also singers, inviting them to sing songs of their choosing in front of a camera, in different locations throughout the pre-security area of the airport. The resulting videos reflect on the relationship between a person and their work, voice and identity, and the power dynamics that often cast security personnel as enemies of pedestrians.
