Description
- The Arts Program worked closely with the Airport’s Design & Construction Department to design, fabricate and install a fitting tribute to the life of a former Austin-Sundt Joint Venture employee for the Airport’s consolidated Rental Car Center. Consisting of a custom etched aluminum plaque framed by verdant living plants, the memorial also features a quote from Kahlil Gibran: “Of life’s two chief prizes, beauty and truth, I found the first in a loving heart and the second in a laborer’s hand.”
